EVENING MEETING: Open to the Public, “Weeds!”

Weeds! Is meant to be both a humorous look at the plight of the gardener, as well as a serious look at dealing with weeds in our landscape. Part of the presentation is dedicated to the effective ways of battling, or better yet preventing, weeds but we will also learn the value of certain weeds in our landscape.

Dan Jaffe is the Propagator and Stock Bed Grower at the New England Wildflower Society’s Garden in the Woods. His past experience includes a degree in botany from the
University of Maine, an advanced certificate in Native Plant Horticulture and Design from the New England Wildflower Society and nursery management experience.
