The Nature of Lincoln: Exploring our Landscape and Geology

 

Let’s take a look at Lincoln’s land! Lincoln has a strong sense of place. We will start in our own backyards, then step back to get a view of our local landscape, and finally take a peek at the geological underpinnings.

 

Thoreau said that every town should have a writer [like Sue Klem] to help people see what is all around them and hopefully appreciate it a little more. Sue is a Lincoln resident who has written about our natural history in the Lincoln Journal for many years. She is a member of the Lincoln Land Conservation Trust.
