REGULAR MEETING, Pleasure Gardens

Come on an armchair tour of public gardens north of Boston – from pocket-size to grand landscapes. See perennial beds, rose gardens, woodland paths, annual beds, water features, statuary and tropical greenhouses. Learn about current horticultural practices and special plants at each property.

Lecturer, Gail Anderson is a former journalist and trained horticulturist. She worked at Long Hill, one of the included gardens, for six years.   Gail has been photographing these gardens for many years and has selected her best images for the program. She will also be providing a hand-out with visitor information.
