New to the Garden Club? Start Here

Everything you need to get the most out of your first year.

Welcome from the President

We are so glad you joined the Lincoln Garden Club. You are now part of a community that has been cultivating knowledge, friendship, and beautiful spaces since 1928.

How meetings work

We meet monthly at Bemis Hall. Meetings begin with social time, a brief business update, and a featured speaker or program. Coffee is always on.

Upcoming calendar

See the next meetings, workshops, and garden tours on the Calendar & Events page.

Meet the officers

Our officers and committee chairs are your go-to people. A full directory of leadership is available on the Committees page.

How Garden Talk works

Garden Talk is our monthly member newsletter. You'll receive it by email with gardening tips, club news, and seasonal reminders.

Browse volunteer slots

Visit the Volunteer page to sign up for Library Flowers, Hospitality, Station Park, and more — every slot helps.

Committees

Explore our committees — from Conservation to Plant Sale — and find the ones that match your interests.

Club traditions

Our annual Plant Sale, Holiday Program, and Annual Meeting Luncheon are cherished traditions. Watch for sign-ups each season.

Your First Year at LGC

In your first year, try a meeting, sign up for one volunteer slot, attend a workshop, and join a committee that interests you. That's all it takes to feel at home.
